Clean, rich, meticulous and a music-loving vain by day, and a killing psycho freak by night. Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) easily embodies each and everyone of us. Not literally, of course. Admit it guys, when we feel so much hate and loathe towards a person, it makes us want to kill that person in our mind. But in reality, majority of people never really act upon that kind of hate because all of us still has this thing called “morality”. Despite the beast inside all of us, we still want to be perfect in the eyes of other people.

Chrstian Bale is just so amazing as Patrick Bateman. His performance is just so insanely (pun intended) magnificent. I guess it’s safe to say that this guy excels at playing deluded roles (other than the Batman role of course).
